Legal Expenses Cover for Leisure Home Owners

The legal expenses policy is additional insurance that you can purchase annually alongside your park home insurance.  The policy is designed to protect you against the costs of being sued, or of making a claim against someone.  The legal expenses policy does not provide cover where something you do or fail to do prejudices your position or the position of the Insurer in connection with the Legal Action. The legal expenses policy details are outlined below.

 Consumer Pursuit

Costs to pursue a legal action against the person or organisation that sold, hired or leased you defective goods or services for use in or connected to your leisure home.

  Property Damage

Costs to pursue a legal action for financial compensation for damages against a person or organisation that causes physical damage to your leisure home.

  Criminal Prosecution

Costs to defend a criminal prosecution brought against you arising from your ownership or use of your leisure home.

 Personal Injury

Costs to pursue a legal action for personal injury or fatal accident claims against the person or organisation directly responsible.

  Consumer Defence

Costs to defend a legal action brought against you following a breach of a contract you have for selling your own personal goods.

  Property Infringement

Costs to pursue a legal action for nuisance or trespass against the person or organisation infringing your legal rights in relation to your leisure home.

  Property Sales & Purchase

Costs to pursue or defend a legal action arising from a breach of contract for the sale or purchase of your leisure home.
